Deeply influenced by the Chicago based soul music architect Curtis Mayfield, Big Ol’ Chill is singing from falsetto to a distinctive Tom Waits sandpaper baritone, a dramatic vocal change to describe the psychological horror of everyday living and the need to just be yourself.
