After the Prophet of Doubt album and book, Dr Koul releases “Nafs”, an EP about uncovering the veils of the self to uncover the ego. Made up of 3 songs and a poem, “Nafs” features Berlin-based guest vocalist and instrumentalist MURU as well as Swiss beatmakers kreaem and ndwg. The EP is moody and vibey, introspective and deep, one for Hip Hop purists and newcomers alike.
Those purchasing it as an NFT off of Newm’s record store also receive a copy of Dr Koul’s poem “Splitters vs. Lumpers” which was written and performed for a select audience of scientists and artists at the Zurich Federal Aquatic Institute in May 2025.
A portion of the sales revenue will automatically be donated to UNRWA, the UN agency dedicated to supporting Palestinian refugees.
